Lest we Forget.
Today is Anzac day in Australia. There is a sense of quiet around town as we show our respects.
Enjoy your day, and your long weekend.
Rumours about the Bee

We heard a certain Bee isn't passing the Australian Safety Standards testing and this is the reason it has been delayed.........so, although it is currently available on the net and ebay, it may be worth waiting till later this year, when they hope to have it safely released on our shores.
Another thing to consider is the warranty - we've been told this isn't always available when the Bee (or similar) is purchased through a site such as Ebay. We've recently had our front wheel replaced through our 2 yr warrenty on the Chameleon....so are really conscious of how important it is to go through a reputable dealer, as the process was so easy......and we had the new wheel in place in a matter of days.
Just some food for thought for anyone thinking they should "jump the gun" and order it online. You've been warned!
Back!
What didn't kill us only made us stronger and we've got faster than ever internet.........so hold on to your hats!!! Here we go!!!
Dial Up Days
There will be fewer posts over the next week - we are currently on dial up and I don't quite have the required patience or time to upload pictures etc on our less than optimal set up!
Will be back after the weekend. Check back with us next week for more cool kid finds.
Let there be light - but not tonight
Don't forget to turn off your lights at 8pm tonight to support Earth Hour.
I will finally get to use all my nice candles at once!
(FYI - their site is running really slowly. Must be getting lots of hits.)
Happy Easter

Wishing all our readers a happy and safe Easter. Enjoy time with your families and we'll be back next week with more exciting news!
House Hunting Hiatus
Sorry folks - we are house hunting in a big way and it is taking up all our spare time.
Very exciting to be looking at some very nice potential homes. I could imagine us living in most of them.
We will aim to post 2 - 3 times a week during this busy time.
More Ebay-ing!

If anyone is interested, we are selling our Jolly Jumper
and Bumbo on ebay right now. I will have to link these tomorrow, as they haven't quite uploaded to ebay yet.
EDIT: Links now up.
EDIT #2: The Bumbo has just sold. The Jolly Jumper is still available though.
Time is flying! I remember when she was too little for the Jumper!
Where were we?
Now that I have started back at work, I have decided there will be no more weekend posts on My Jnr.
Weekends = Holly time. Computers steal Holly steal. Therefore, computers will have to wait.
I am sure most people check their favourite blogs during the week anyway, so we hope you will continue to check back in with us regularly....just not on weekends!
Fool’s Gold
We attended the local Babes in Arms session this week, and saw Fool's Gold The movie was ok - but we had tonnes of fun "Brisbane-spotting" all the local landmarks in the film. (It was filmed here while I was still pregnant!).
If you haven't been to a Babes in Arms session, it is a great excuse for a catch up with your Mummy-friends. The cinema lights are only slightly dimmed, so you can still see, and the movies are usually light-hearted, so it doesn't matter if you miss a little bit to attend to your little one. I am always surprised at how well behaved all the babies are anyway. The Greater Union has all the info for your home town.
Happy Birthday….
to me!
I having a very 'landmark' birthday today and I am very excited about it. No time for computer till tomorrow!
Happy Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year celebrations are in full-swing in Chinatown, Brisbane (and everywhere else I am sure).
Feb 7, 2008 marked the commencement of Year of the Rat. Rats are said to be leaders, passionate, charismatic and hard-working. As a Horse, I am warned to be wary of the Rat - so thankfully, I'm not planning another child this year!
2007 was the Year of the Pig. For those of us who delivered little "piglets" last year, it is said to be good luck, as the Pig is a happy and honest child.
We are heading in for some lion dancing and fire-cracking tonight! Enjoy the festivities, where ever you are!
Back to the daily grind…
Holly and I will soon be making the daily trip in to the CBD to attend our respective organisations - me: work, her: child care.
So - posts may be a little sketchy over the next few weeks, till we develop some sort of routine....
We aim to post at least twice a week, so keep checking back! We're still around!
Happy Australia Day!

This cute kids hoodie is available from Cafe Press. I have also bought cool thank you cards and stationery from Cafe Press before.

About
My name is Katie Mackenzie. I have a gorgeous baby girl, and a husband who shares my appreciation for design. We hope to bring Holly up in a place that is full of fun, style and function. We have no room for clutter. And we are limited to products that are available to Australians. This blog summarises our efforts.
