Wigglemania

It was only going to be a matter of time...she heard a Wiggles at a recent kids session and she was hooked!
It's amazing - we've bought a few of their DVDs and she is mesmerized every time we put one on. Luckily, her trance breaks at around the 15 minute mark at this stage.....and that's right when our tolerance runs out. So, it's a harmonious, symbiotic relationship and a great novelty at this stage, as we find her reactions to the DVDs more entertaining than the songs themselves!
It is now only a matter of time, and we will be front row at the concert singing every word and dancing our hearts out. I actually think the dance moves are fantastic.......much needed in this age of childhood obesity.
Wiggles DVDs can be found everywhere. Try Myer, KMart or BigW during the sales for a good deal.

Oh yes!!! I so hear you. I am hoping Miss D skips all the usual suspects of kiddies music and is only interesetd in what her 4yo sister is. I’m quite happy with her choice of tunes, as I type she’s happily skipping around me listening to Silverchair & Powderfinger on her iPod Shuffle *gasp*.

Animation film
The resolution you work at should depend on where and how the animation will be displayed. If your film is only going to be shown on the web, you can work at a smaller resolution so it’s easier to download or stream online. If your film is intended for television broadcast, standard television definition is 720 X 540. If you plan to put it onto dvd, you’ll have to keep in mind that many people have Plasma or LCD HDTV’s, which most work a resolution of 1280 X 720p. Considering that it can take years to finish a 1 1/2 - 2 hour film you need to plan ahead and realize that TV’s will probably be running at a resolution of 1920 x 1080p (there are already some high end HDTV’s that run at 1920 X 1080i) to know jump higher
