Brisbane’s Child Online

The helpful, free mag I pick up from my local nurse is now online! Their website is very cool, featuring articles, blogs and product reviews. I have already bookmarked it.

All other Australian Capital cities are covered as well, by following the links at the bottom of the Brisbane page.

Immunisations

This post digresses from the usual vein, however it is vaccination time for us and this time we had a worrying SIDE EFFECT - a swollen fontanelle - requiring a trip back to the GP. Luckily, this turned out to be nothing, an isolated short-term finding, but I spent a little while surfing the web for information and thought I would store it in here as a handy reference for us all.

The fact sheets on the Australian Government's Immunisation webpage contain lots of information and handy contact details. I will bookmark them, just in case.....
